A MEDICAL REPRESENTATIVE (PM) is a representative of a company that manufactures medicines or medicinal products, devices and medical equipment. PM’s responsibilities are to provide information about medical products, collect information about their possible adverse effects, transmit or make available the SPC during meetings with medical and pharmaceutical professionals. It is also the task of the Medical Representative to inform about official prices, possible patient payments and availability of medicinal products.
The Medical Representative participates in the preparation and organization of medical workshops, symposia and scientific conferences.
A PHARMACEUTICAL REPRESENTATIVE (PF) like PM, represents a pharmaceutical company. Their work focuses on contacts with pharmacists, healthcare professionals and pharmaceutical distributors and wholesalers.
They are also responsible for information on medical products, collecting information about possible adverse reactions, transmitting or making available the SPC during meetings with medical and pharmaceutical professionals. It is also the task of the Medical Representative to inform about official prices, possible patient payments and availability of medicinal products.
REGIONAL SALES MANAGER (RKS) – RKS is responsible for the operation and functioning of the entire team (8-12 people). They supervise and manage team of pharmaceutical / medical representatives, they are responsible for effective motivation, verification and evaluation of the team’s work
RKS develops short- and long-term marketing strategies in the region, prepares, controls and is responsible for the implementation of planned activities.
RKS conducts ongoing market analysis, initiates promotional actions, analyzes competition activities and recommends improvements to the promotion and marketing policy. RKS develops reports and analyses.
KEY ACCOUNT MANAGER (KAM) – this is usually a self-contained and experienced employee delegated to contacts with key clients of the company. KAM is responsible for building and developing cooperation with the most important and largest clients, creates the image of the company and marketing policy. KAM often finalizes and negotiates commercial agreements with customers. KAM is in direct contact with PM/PF from their site.
KEY ACCOUNT SPECIALIST (KAS) like KAM is a self-contained and experienced employee of the company delegated to build and develop cooperation with the largest and most important pharmaceutical wholesalers, purchasing groups, pharmacy chains and key pharmacies.KAS creates the image of the company and marketing policy, as well as finalizes and negotiates contracts with customers, stays in contact with PF/ PM from their territory.
A SPECIALIST IN THE FIELD OF Marketing Authorization of medicines conducts registration and post-registration processes, prepares registration documentation in accordance with pharmaceutical law and other guidelines, conducts audits of registration documentation, tracks Polish and EU regulations related to the registration of medicinal products, medical devices, dietary supplements and cosmetics, builds good relations with state administrations responsible for the marketing of medicinal products, medical devices, dietary supplements and cosmetics.
